David Bowie (1947-2016) was an English singer-songwriter and actor. His albums include The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars (1972), Aladdin Sane (1973), Young Americans (1975), Let’s Dance (1983), and Blackstar (2016). In October 2013, Bowie posted his complete list of “DAVID BOWIE’S TOP 100 BOOKS” on his Facebook page. In 2014, Bowie’s son, screenwriter and director Duncan Jones, created the Bowie Book Club, an online forum and later podcast dedicated to discussing these works.
